Dr. Fatima van Hattum works as Program Co-Director at NewMexicoWomen.Org, New Mexico’s statewide women’s fund. She holds a PhD in Educational Thought and Sociocultural Studies from the University of New Mexico and an MSc in Globalization and Development Studies from the University of London’s SOAS. She loves qualitative and community-based research, liberatory pedagogies, and is committed to working towards gender and social justice. In the wee hours of dawn, she is also a poet.
